My raven, Corywn, loves to use his magics to transform and/or dispose of others, just for the fun of it. In this case, he turned Rodent into wax, where the rat remained for some type. Eventually, deciding that it was time to finish dealing with the rat, he ignited the was figure with a magical flame. Unfortunately for Rodent, this resulted in his soul rising as the expelled smoke, which was then casually inhaled by the raven. :)

I love the way this came out. The waxiness to Rodent's form looks fantastic, along with the way he's melting away, and the expression on Corwyn's face as he inhales the rat's soul, is wonderfully adorable. The look and colors of the flames beautifully capture their magical nature, and the stretched out, smoky nature to Rodent's soul is just perfect. <3
