They do, if they're set properly as a cub. Otherwise, they knit back together incorrectly and can cause major problems as an adult. That's part of the reason Az's leg never properly healed. It was so badly damaged they couldn't repair it before he reverted, and had to almost literally remove and replace the deformed bones in his leg so he could have even minimal function.
