What class is this for? What's you mjor?

The class is Illustration Project and my major is visual communication.

Okay. Looks good. I'm in school for media Arts and Animation, but I am trying to go for a concept design focus. Still got 2.5 years left in thhis degree.

Have you started doing animation yet? and what kind of animation? 2D or 3D?

I have not decided exactly on whether I will be working for 2D or 3D, but I think I will be trying to learn more of the concept designs. I like 2D, but it's alot of repetition, and I can't draw the same circle twice. 3D sounds great, but tedious. I would love to learn them all, including stop motion and flash as well, but have to focus on one soon.... I'm only in my 2nd year tho, so I still have time. I think i will be learning 3D more than 2D tho by the sounds of it.

Hmm those are good points to think on. Perhaps you should start with 2D just so you know it and then your 3D would should actually benefit from it :)

Well the Quick sketch and the Drawing for Animation classes are 2 D. Plus I have been taking mostly drawing classes.... drawing 101, 102, 103, drawing from life, drawing anatomy.... etc. These classes are really helping me with the basic form, as well as helping with action poses that are not so stiff.
