Diamur waits patiently, as the two anthros hug out their feelings, and the reason for him being in the office is that he has a bit of an eating disorder.
“(Thinking) Gah where is my mom with my food?”
The chubby husky begins to think about the reason for eating said special food, it all started when he first saw the cereal icon Tony the Tiger on the box. From the way Diamur looks at the box of cereal is a lustful one, what would he do if Tony actually existed, and what pleasures would he seek from such an encounter.
“(Thinking) Hah if only he was real, I wonder how he would act, would we be a perfect pair. I wonder if he wouldn’t mind, I am just a simple anthro who has a crush on him, Tony … the Tiger. (sigh)”
Tigus begins to regain his composure as the hug between him and Burc continues, outside the office the passing students notice the wolf and tiger hugging.
“Thank you Burc.” The sweet tiger comforts the wolf back.
“Anything for you. We’re together now.” The confident wolf replies with sincerity.
Tigus smiles then he turns to Diamur while holding Burc’s hand.
“Hey Diamur, what are you doing here?”
“Oh just waiting for my mom to bring me my food from home. She said she’d be here about ten minutes ago.” The husky relaxes on the hard chair.
“Oh your cereal?” The tiger gives off a smirk.
“Yeah, my favorite food in the world. Can’t live without that stuff. Especially the ti… taste.” The husky becomes a bit awkward, and he removes his backpack and places it on his lap.
“Well Frosted Flakes do taste great.” Tigus does a horrible impression of Tony the Tiger.
Beside him Burc starts to laugh.
“What’s so funny, huh Burc?” The tiger smiles at his mate.
“You’re so cute, do that impression again.” The wolf giggles.
Diamur feels left out since he does have a crush on Tigus too.
The Bear leaves the office in a fit of rage.
“(Thinking) What the hell is up with this damn school?!”
The Principal is walking behind him on his way to reassure the two who are waiting.
Tigus turns his attention back to Diamur.
“Diamur, this is Burc. Burc this is Diamur.”
Both canines make eye contact, Burc gets up and walks up to Diamur, and he extends his paw to him. Diamur takes hold and shakes.
“Nice to meet you … uh Burc right?” Burc grabs hold of the husky’s paw and doesn’t notice anything in particular about his contact.
Diamur sees what wardrobe Burc has on.
“(Thinking) Nice choice of colors.”
Burc breaks the hand shake and sits back down beside Tigus.
The anthro teacher enters the office area and glances at the two sitting next to each other. He glares at the two; Tigus and Burc look up, both of their faces showing no expression. The bear gives a frustrated grunt and proceeds to the door and opens it forcefully.
“Damn gay kids.” The bear whispers.
The Principal enters the area.
“You two may return to your classes, there is nothing to worry about, and but if any more problems persist come to me immediately.”
Tigus and Burc stand up, they slowly walk away, and then Tigus turns to Diamur.
“See ya later.” The tiger waves lazily.
“ Heh see ya.” Diamur instantly says his goodbye.
The two exit the office, and now they part ways cause each have different classes.
“Will you be alright for the rest of the day?” Burc shows his kindness by placing his paw on Tigus’s shoulder.
“Yeah of course. I can handle the rest of the day just as long as I know I get to have you when school ends. Heh” The tiger becomes bashful and scratches the back of his neck.
The wolf comes a bit closer and places a small gentle kiss on the side of Tigus’s maw. The tiger’s eyes widen and he then touches the same area where the kiss made contact.
“I’ll meet you after school where we first met, okay?”
Tigus hears the bold statement and worries.
“Are you sure it’ll be okay, I mean what if the teacher catches us again?” Tigus’s ears fold back.
“It’ll be fine, I am sure if push comes to shove, we have each other. I won’t let anything happen to you.” Burc says with the upmost confidence.
Burc grabs Tigus’s hand as he is walking away, his fingers pass over the warm palm, running along the fingers, and then at the end his middle finger curls. Then their contact is severed. Burc walks a couple of feet then turns around to get a last look at Tigus,
Both wave to each other.
Tigus slowly turns around and sets his path to class he ever so slightly puts his hands in his sweater pockets. Burc can’t help but to stand there watching his tiger walk away from him; he places a gentle smile across his maw. Both go their separate ways.
Tigus makes his way to third hour which has already begun, he walks up to the door and sees the teacher in front of the board explaining today’s assignment, he cautiously goes for the door handle, and he grips the metal. He turns the handle slowly trying not to make a sound, the door clicks and the entire class room’s attention is fixed on the door. Tigus enters the room he takes a few steps in the door behind closes.
“You’re late.” The teacher says with the gruffness of the panther that he is.
“I’m sorry Mr. Vist. I was at the office.”
“Oh do you have a note?” The inquisitive jungle cat asks.
The tiger searches his pockets for the note.
“(Thinking) Oh where is that damn thing!?” RUSTLE RUSTLE
The panther is growing impatient. “Well?”
“Um just wait I have it here somewhere, just let me check.” The tiger is becoming anxious a bead of sweat forms on the left temple of his head.
(Sigh)” Take your seat Tigus, we’ll discuss this later after class you’re going to spend lunch in here.” Mr. Vist motions Tigus to take his seat.
Tigus walks down the aisle and quickly sits down at his assigned desk.
“(Thinking) Man this sucks, here I wanted to talk to Diamur. And … Burc.”
The class passes by, the bell rings; all of the students quickly stand up, and exit the class. Tigus tries to exit the class before Mr. Vist notices.
“Hold it right there Tigus.” The mild shout across the classroom reaches the tiger’s ears and he ceases all control.
“Where do you think you’re going?” The panther asks.
Several students pass by Tigus.
“Oh I was just going to … to”
“Leave.” Mr. Vist finishes the sentence for him.
“Yeah… I am sorry. But it’s just that it’s the last day of school.” The timid tiger emits from his mouth.
“That is no excuse Tigus. I needed to discuss why you were sent to the office, you say so but I need a confirmation. You’re a good student try to look at it from my perspective a good student is sent to the office and you don’t see anything wrong with this?” The panther gives off a calm vibe.
“Well I was sent to the office Mr. Vist.” The tiger speaks.
There is one student beside Tigus that is in the class room.
“I would like to know why you were sent to the office. I can’t just take your word for it. I am sorry.” Mr. Vist curiosity returns.
“I … I was sent to the office for…” Tigus struggles to get the words out of him being sent to the office for kissing a fellow male student.
Burc is on his way to his next class and he doesn’t share the same lunch time with his new found mate, he arrives at his third hour class. He enters the room immediately spots his desk walks past all the students and takes a seat, he notices a particular girl in the desk next to him. Burc is rather curious about her she keeps to herself just like any other student he plops down into the chair and positions his tail so it won’t be bothering him throughout class.
“Alright class be quite, I know it’s the last day of school and even though most of the seniors have missed today, I have suggested that class today will canceled. I mean who in their right mind would give an assignment on the last day of school.” The teacher clears his throat.
Burc relaxes in his chair and looks at the ceiling.
The girl sitting next to Burc pulls out her phone and keeps it out of sight from the teacher; Burc hears her movements and glances at her.
“Excuse me, can you tell me the time?” The wolf asks the quite girl.
The girl wears the same casual black sweater each day but underneath the repetitive façade a different shirt is hidden. Each shirt she wears is different in genre. The girl keeps to herself and is a master of hiding her personality, only those who are lucky to be her friends are giving the opportunity to see a different side to her. Her name is Kristen, eighteen years old, a powerful voice lies deep within her, and she is clever and hysterical.
“Oh the time is 12:53.” Kristen replies in a mild casual tone.
“Thanks Kristen.” The wolf sharply emits.
“Wait, how do you know my name?” She asks very inquisitively.
Burc smiles and points up to his ears. “I am very good at hearing as you can see.”
Kristen lets out a small smirk and her facial expression changes instantly. Burc notices that her quite vibe is slowly receding and her personality is carefully emitting from her shell.
“So, what do you do for fun?” Burc tries the direct approach about getting to know her.
“Um. I don’t really know what to say.” She takes a quick look at her phone and redirects her attention back to the wolf.
“Well my name is Burc if you don’t know. Mind if I ask another question?” He shifts his weight to face her.
“What?” Her answer is short and to the point. Burc senses the conversation is going at an unusual steady pace.
“Have you ever spoken to an anthro?” He and his tail are waiting in anticipation.
“No, I have one anthro friend. He’s pretty cool.” Her words are sensitive as she answers Burc’s question.
Tigus is having a hard time trying to give his response, and his mind is going out of control. “(Thinking) Tell him the reason you were sent to the office earlier!” Tigus’s looks everywhere except at Mr. Vist standing in front of him.
“Tigus is there something that you’re not telling me?” The dark furred feline asks.
The timid tiger takes in a deep breath. “I was sent to the office for…”
The last student that is in the classroom is a female lion with a beautiful golden mane that even the male lions are jealous of and other lionesses envy her. She is in and out of the conversation that the tiger and anthro teacher are having. Her name is Aida, eighteen years old, a talkative proud lioness, and she can start a conversation with just about anyone. Aida has a lot of friends but hardly has the time to speak to each of them because her conversations can last a lifetime and she is okay with that.
“Excuse me.” The lioness speaks. “Mr. Vist, the tiger is telling the truth. On my way to class I saw him, a wolf, and a husky sitting in the office.” She decides not to mention the hugging that took place between the tiger and wolf.
“Are you sure Aida?” The panther raises an eyebrow.
“Yes it seems they were brought in by the wood shop teacher.” She adds on, hoping the teacher believes her.
“let me give him a call just to make sure.” The panther calls the woodshop and the bear picks up. The conversation lasts for a couple of minutes. While Mr. Vist is talking to the woodshop teacher both of them are standing there in an awkward silence waiting for the teachers to finish.
Tigus wants to say something to her but he has no idea what to say to her.
“(Thinking) Should I say thank you to her or what?” The tiger brings his paw up and rubs his chin.
Aida taps her fingers on the desk and lets out a displeased sigh. Her tail is moving just as impatiently as she is. “(Thinking) Gah, come on Mr. Vist hurry the hell up!”
The panther is still talking with the bear and both agree on things and the one topic is brought up, the panther now knows the truth as to why Tigus was sent to the office. Both say their goodbyes and hang up. Mr. Vist feels for the young anthro.
“It appears you both were telling the truth. Sorry Tigus you can leave. I am sorry for this little inconvenience. You may go to lunch now.”
Tigus turns and walks to the door; it feels like a heavy weight was lifted off his shoulders he sighs as he exits the doorframe.
Aida watches him then pulls on her backpack and quickly goes after him. The jingle of her jewelry rings as she quickens her pace and now she has the tiger in sight.
“Wait. You there Tiger.” She waves her paw.
Tigus hears the unusual shout from behind him down the hall and turns to sees the lioness waving her paw wildly. She then stops and rushes toward him.
“(Thinking) Why is this girl coming toward me.” Tigus braces for the excited presence that Aida is bringing with her.
Aida reaches the tiger.
“Whew that was a rush, what was it that I came over to you for. Oh yeah, you never did thank me for that little extra help with Mr. Vist.” She gives off a forced approach but you can tell she has a sweet side underneath her bossy exterior.
Tigus just looks at her oddly. “Okay thanks for helping me back there.” He prepares to leave then she interjects and continues the awkward conversation.
Burc feels the uneasiness between him and Kristen slowly lifting away. Kristen takes a look at what Burc is wearing.
“What kind of shoes are you wearing?” She points to his open toed shoes.
Burc chuckles. “Well you see last night I washed my shoes and this morning they were still wet inside. I am not to going to wear wet shoes so I asked my friend if he has any shoes luckily he had something. But I was not expecting these.” He taps the zoris together.
Kristen smiles and turns her head to sort of hide it.
“Those shoes are different, but nice.”
Burc’s tail begins to wag.
“Thanks, others have been looking at me strangely today. I guess they’re not use to me changing right away.” The wolf smiles and chuckles.
Kristen smiles from the delight of Burc’s happiness.
“Well the unordinary are the best. I like that you don’t dress normal, you can stand out and be proud of yourself.” Kristen says with pure sincerity.
“Thanks Kris, do you mind if I call you that?” Burc lets the question flow as normal as can be.
Kristen becomes uneasy at the sudden nick-name Burc addressed her as. Burc just has a pleasant smile on his face as he watches Kristen check her phone and gives her attention back to Burc.
“I really don’t mind if you call me that, but usually I am not use to it. Well at least not outside my family.”
Burc eases his posture he was hoping she would be okay with the nick-name and then his thoughts dwell on Tigus. His tail begins to wag and he lets out a big sigh of relief as to why he is such a lucky wolf to have found a tiger, a tiger like no other.
