So this totally isn't art at all, and I know that, that's why it's going in my scraps. I'm sorry if you don't want to see this, I'm just so excited that I wanted to share :) I've wanted one of this kind of ball joint doll since I was a teenager, and only this year was I able to make enough money to purchase them. Two of them, actually!
The little doll is one that I got a few months ago. The big one came in the mail today! These dolls are so pretty, and I'm going to paint them to be even prettier. They are expensive and frivolous, I know, but they are a passion. One day I want to make my own line of dolls.
I have no real interest in human ball joint dolls, which has surprised me. I loved them as a kid. But I've been back in the doll community this last year and I don't really want human dolls anymore. I love all the fantasy ones like these taur animals. I would really LOVE a large cat taur :)
Anywho, I just wanted to share them. I'll post pictures someday, when I've finished painting them and making them outfits.

I might be wrong, but I know they're one of the few brands that does transparent bits and centaur ones.

Still, as you can see by the warning that pops up... recasts ARENT the way, people've been doing it, reselling them and hurting the second hand market bad, let alone the companies.

They are the Luts brand centaurs. And yes, recasts are tempting, but they REALLY hurt the doll business. And if you think about it, recasting IS art theft. So don't ever support it. You can usually find people selling the limited edition dolls in the doll forums. I go on DenofAngels.
Oh no I only even mentioned it cause when I went to the soom site (only company I remembered that did it, been out of the hobby mostly for a while), they actually had a post saying how they're working with the FBI/KOTRA to try and take legal action, finally. Even put a whole new way to serial#/register dolls on their site to try and prevent recasts.
They are some of the limited edition Luts dolls. Soom has some centaurs too. In my opinion, these ones are proportioned better than the Soom ones. Now I just need a male centaur to finish my family up! Sadly, the one I want is a past limited edition one. So it will be hard to get a hold of.
