Megas XLR is basically Gundam for Rednecks!

It aired on Cartoon Network back in 2004 or 5. I remember being a little kid watching it and thinking it was the best thing ever! (even though looking back there were a lot of jokes that went over my head back then) I'm not surprised more people haven't heard of it seeing as it only ran for 13 episodes due to budget issues. That and, as you said, the show's about as American as it gets so I doubt it'd be as popular anywhere except here in the states where I live.

Ahh. I'm Canadian, so I guess that's why I've never heard of it! My childhood cartoon was Ruby gloom. It's a Canadian cartoon so I don't know if you'd know about that :o
