Heh, I never imagined someone with glasses wielding a sword, or swords. :V I quite like the controlled application of shading, these all look they could animate very well.

Yep yep! The design was made somewhat simplistic to make animating him easier. His throwing of swords serves as a sight gag, as the swords he throws... well, let's just say they'll be 'familiar'.
