I've been guilty of the same thing from time to time, but I try to keep myself tethered to the earth. We are a very intelligent species, and if we can just keep our egos in check we can accomplish amazing things.

It's a wonderful poem. Does make you think (and could almost be like a poetic Rorschach test, meaning something different to different people that read it.)
