I've been wanting to work on a couple of things lately; mostly speed and trying to give more of my images a finished, scenic look. I tend to struggle with those, so I've been trying to do a scene-like image every sunday as quickly as I can, as finished as I can.
This one was based off of the theme 'mirror' from that 100 Fantasy themes thing that was popular a couple of years ago. So far I guess I'm fairly pleased with how they're turning out; but I am noteing some weaknesses in other areas that I don't spend as much time on. Readability, silhouettes, form, details, and just feeling a little more bare bones-like in some places. I'm hoping I'll learn to hide my shortcuts a little better with more practice as well.
All that aside, though, here's some more of our Moss Fenra gal looking into a glowy pond of some sort! It was fun to do~

Lovely as always. At the given scale, no shortcut seems to immediately present itself. Could you ruin the magic and point something out, if you don't mind?

I guess, to me, the space feels kind of lacking without the far background detail to emphasize it; it's just kind of a blurry thing at the back, and a lot of the character details don't feel very weighted to me due to drawing with a little more of a short hand? I dunno. I just see a lot of things I could have done to make it better, but didn't.
