Her color was changed slightly a bit to add variation-- originally she, Amiel, and Dilia were very similar shades of brown.

Tayza spent most of her growing life in and out of the hospital due to an autoimmune disorder that ate away at her body slowly. As a child she was quiet and shy, but over time she learned to make up for her weak body with a strong soul, becoming more outspoken and confident. She also became increasingly bitter about her weakness and the time she spent in the hospital.

Against the wishes of literally everyone, she eventually sneaked her way into a Lian scouting party, determined to overcome her condition with sheer will. Unfortunately, said party was sent into the desert. She got separated from her team, and wandered the desert alone until she came upon Rish-Kahn. Finally succumbing to the desert heat and her own body's frail state, she collapsed before making it inside. But to her incredible luck, she was soon discovered by Delkin.

She was brought before Iiji, who offered her the promise of power in the form of 'majicka'. She accepted so quickly that even the queen was taken aback. If majicka could give her the body she deserved, she would absolutely accept it. She became a 'Kijaara', 'one who is gifted'.

Delkin showed her how to use her new-found abilities, and sought to help her overcome majicka's influence on her mind. Tayza would best majicka's corruption by embracing it and making it a part of her. She enjoyed her heightened instincts, and gained a beastly nature. She was never happier.

Delkin and Tayza grew close, forming a relationship until it became clear Delkin was manipulative, which clashed with Tayza's... Tayza nature. She would spend the next few years being the "beast" of Rish-Khan, hunting animals and ensuring nobody who found the facility escaped to tell of it.

She was mostly a lone wolf until Sekani and Amiel showed up with their teenage drama and enough tears to fill a lake. She totally owned the bird, but Jiniki abused her overpowered nature to disable Tayza temporarily. The ensuing discussion lead Tayza to question Iiji's rule for the first time. She would go out on her own to confront Iiji, who did not take kindly to being questioned. Though she had no confidence in their ability to beat Iiji, Tayza joined them anyway to make them the winning team.

Tayza did not get along well with Sekani at first, still angry that he burned down her home of the previous few years, but over time they gained something approaching a friendship. She was impressed at his ability to overcome his weakness, much as she once did.

She currently leads the reborn Zalika facility, though she lets Sekani and Amiel pretend they have leadership roles as well.
