I honestly think wood would go under either water or earth... But water has Blood bending... URGH, all the odd bending.

That's really awesome man. Some nice detail work and that pose is superb.
Is that the kanji for tree or wood in the background?

You should really scan more stuff from your sketchbook, even if you don't color it. We miss your art! :D

Thankies, I spent my time on this one.. and yeah that is the tree kanji in the back (Moku) ;)
