You might recognize the artists name from such shows as Tiny Toons, Timon & Pumbaa or I Am Weasel but here he's drawing his own character from his comic book Space Ark.
Here Kitty is about to report a malfunction in the ship's Dress-O-Matic, but the boys think it's working fine. (Ya get the feeling she's going to shove the engineer into it and see how he likes wearing this outfit?)

Space Ark was a very funny comic he did back in the 80's, well worth seeking out from a back issues dealer.

This was a commission I got from him at San Diego Comic Con in 91, way before the con became a national media circus.
