Now you know who's Thorstone's mother, atleast.
Yes, yes it's Virala, who have changed a bit over the last six thousand years. This scene would probably take place around 120 years ago.
I would have loved to write a short story for this, but my mind won't co-operate!
Forgot to shadow the lamp and the drawer, stupid me.
You know, comments are as welcome as favourites, a bit more in fact.

Well, unless you start it, it will probabaly not be in a combat situation. His sister only is called out to fight if really large threats, in size and not just power, cannot be defeated by the 'normal' Defenders and otherwise is usually a peacful mega titaness.
By 'DocWolphs characters', do you mean those who almost put dragon ball to shame when it comes to overpowered-ness? Or some of the more reasonable ones?

a mix really. some had some faults that allowed B-man to win.. (only just) I mean I make him be just your regular sort of King of Fighters Character but at times when the need arises ( or the other person just can take a hint) I pepper a bit of it myself in there to level the playing field.
I'm not familiar with King of Fighters, but the way you put it, the characters can't be that much more OP than the characters in street fighter or Guilty Gear, I suppose.
Anyways, the chances of you meeting any of them is at a minimum, as they happend to live in another realm of being. The same dimension, but the only way to get there is by a portal. And still then, most likeley the only way to actually come in a fight with them is to start it yourself or be seen as a national threat, and be hunted by Defenders, and even then they will send someone around your own height, those who are magically powerful, to the point they send Defender Lesser Gods.

Apologies Thorstone.
The reason I chose that word because of http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Di.....nks#Rank_21.2B , http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/3.5e_Overdeities and http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/3.5e_Pantheons of course.
I totally apologize if I've said something that may sound confusing to you.

If you mean by that you are asking if there are more of them, then yes, there are. A lot.
Though the number of named characters of importance in this story that are immortal - as in they live forever, and can't be posioned or diseased in any mortal way, but can be killed - is only about thirty or so. But following the lore, there are more than a thousand of them, most of them lesser gods that have ascended via hard training and heroic actions - even if only seen as a hero by evil-doers - and are not really divine.

Yra and Virala aren't enemies, just the first time they meet, after that, they become good friends and allies, even if Virala at that time is still as cold towards her.
They do not start as immortals, they earn it, Yra before Virala, since she's the main character. And Orzura... Well, she got atleast an immortal memorial in the Hall of Heroes.

In a long fight against one of the story's final villians - not the main villian, mind you - she receives a mortal wound, his sword is thrust through her abdomen, out her back. He then flee from the battle, after trying himself on Virala, now hundreds of times stronger in a fiery berserker rage, only to be killed by Zura in the end.
Sometimes, a story needs casualities within it.

Zura is one of the Elder Gods, and cannot be killed at all, defeated and destroyed for a while, yes, but not killed. It would disrupt the Ruvanon, and possibly make fire-based spells impossible to cast.
Though she's still imprisoned on her moon, and doesn't really do as much havoc through her cultists outside as much as she used to, but on the moon - which is more or less a giant prison which she rules, by the way - it's the same as it's been for over 100,000 years.

Maybe you have never heard about Ruvanon - with an N, not M - because it's a word I've created to use something else than the overused generic magic? It's pretty much the same, just with it's own set of rules, and a bit more scientific. A bit.
Well, she never betrayed them, before she got her godly powers and became a divinity, she was actually sent to the same moon that she now calls her home. Yes, it was even in use before then. She was charged for killing a lesser god, and eating - not vore, she did chew - her husband and daughter, which was quite the feat, given that she wasn't a giantess at that time. So from the start, she was a monster.
Not only is she the goddess of fire, but she was also the 'death-bringer', almost like the guy before the Grim Reaper comes and gets your soul. And besides, not all of the Elder Gods are actually good, most of them go on the line of both, but that's what mortals say of them, as they are somehwat beyond mortal feeling, all of them has one emotion that they do not have. Zura, for example, does not have the emotion Love, or it bareley shows in her.
And yes, killing an Elder God can disrupt Ruvanon, as their power taps right into the source of a elemtal they stand for, becoming a pillar that holds that elemental up for mortals to tap into. Without them, the system would not work, and since no one does not know how to make new ones - or to kill the ones who already are - it would be a really bad thing if they did all die, because the culture, society and technology at that time is made from it, and is very important to them.

Wow!
'Frost' means 'Ice', right?
Because if I were to favor a character, that character would be a forever immortal warm-hearted neutral good female 'Frost Elemental' Ruvanon sorceress who would do everything to protect, save and help the good, innocent, poor, weak, young and scared from even all evil Elder deities with all of her infinitely unlimited overgodlike 'Frost Elemental' Ruvanon power and abilities!
