I'd suggest racing on an oval track of some sort, that way you can get a good, and legal feel for the car's top speed.

i was thinking about doing something like that. theres a track close by actually so i could do it if i wanted to!

most modern real drive/race simulation games go with real specs, like forza 2 and GT5 , forza 2 i think has the new eclipse..i tink o-o ill have a look :P

oh really? i didn't know that. i have NFS for PS3 and im quite sure that the original specs for the cars may be correct; but we all know you cant just take a POS car and upgrade it to have 700 + HP! LOL

NFS isnt much of a simulations..usually over-exatturated stuff :P quite fun though, but i preffered the underground series o-o thats when it was goood.
mm i dunno if GT5 prologue has your car in it or not, but in the final game it probubly will and there simulation aswell, but if you have a 360 check out forze x3

naa you probubly wont find any flaws, its mitsubishi....its japanese there reliable and wont fall apart and are alllllways decently made =3

well for starters: blindspots are horrible! i have to move the passenger seat forward or i cant see to my right! also; me being 6' tall, its hard to get into the car because it sits so low!

mmm well there just normal sport car flaws :P im sure everything else makes up for it x3

Now, how powerful is it's engine? I'd suspect at least 150HP. And if so, it should go to the limits of it's display, to 220. Otherwise I'd wonder XD Since an engine of half the power goes up to 180 :b

the car has 163 BHP (at least thats what the site and the brochure says it has) but nothing about its top speed.
i wonder if i could get it supercharged! that would be just wrong! its already fast enough though! so i don't see the point in spending more money for more engine performance when i could never legally use it to its full potential!

Well in Germany it's depending on region whath the are driving. Here in West Germany they are almost only driving the new VW Passat model. Other regions they basically use BMW 5 series models. I have already seen a few Porsche cop cars, but it's rare. You know, it costs much to the police departements to get a Porsche for general driving, so maybe only PDs close to highways may use Porsches.

I've heared american cop cars do havemuch larger tanks than the normal cars, so it's not really possible to make them run out of fuel while ou can race on :b
