Profile: J. Volstag is a kind and calm person, content to travel and bring joy to people in whatever way he can. Trained to listen to people and help avert problems where they may be, he constantly explores the world to find those who would benefit from his magical effects. Backstory: Whilst exploring a forest, Volstag entered an ancient shrine and started to meditate, feeling a strange natural energy entering his mind and starting to commune with him about using his powers for his own amusement as well as to help those in need. At first hesitant, when realising that these body-altering powers he was starting to abuse COULD help some people, he grinned, took up the quarter-staff before him and left the forest with a new agenda in mind.

Accompanied by a spiritual representation of this energy force that calls itself the Lightstriker, the good lord Volstag took up his tools and strode forth across the land, eventually finding the FA-Battle League, and after spending his time debating in his mind and with Lightstriker as to the possibilities of such an encounter, he smiled, drew a deep breath, and strode forward to introduce himself.

Magic Style: The more basic of J. Volstag's magics are done via beams of energy projected through the air, or through arcane orbs lain down as traps to catch the unweary. The more complex require rituals to be done, and the highest level incantation requires a prayer and blessings in order to be fully utilised.
