Yeah, giant Lego bricks made out of Lego bricks.
Nothing really special, they're just 13X bigger than a usual Lego brick. I did 13X as that made everything work well especially with the pegs on top.
Yes, the Legos are old, so some are faded. I didn't have an infinite supply of each color to work with so I had to use what I had.
And yes, some pieces on the flat black piece are missing as I guess some of them fell off in where I was storing them, and I could not find them.

Production methods and procedures plus the resources used improve over time, new lego bricks probably are a lot sturdier. :3
That's a funny thing where you've built a product to last, but inventive new ways to market sets or simply the need for more pieces to construct with means building something to last isn't an issue here.
That's the Uni-Kitty as I recall, seems like quite the fun character that probably has impeding rule 34. :P
The more I'm seeing of this Lego Film though, the more I'm interested as the animation looks fantastic and the general silly banter just looks plain fun.
They even got a few DC characters in there, Batman primarily, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, I wonder if they managed Star Wars but probably not by the looks of things.
