I accidently fursona'd again... not really. Thought about it and I needed something to balance out Shizu that could be used for real life events and not just random stories. Sometimes I don't feel like drawing her but still want to draw so that's where he comes in.
Anyway, Simon the Russian Blue. Unless I say otherwise stick with plugs and tunnels. I'm super picky about hanging shapes and he'd NEVER wear tapers as jewelry. Undies can be ladies underwear too. I think that's about it.

*waves at you in your rock-covered hideaway* I like him - very nimble looking guy. ^_^ With big ears like that too, the plugs are such a nice visual anchor at their base. Haaa... love those chibbis of him. He's got a very nice footpaw too - very solid digitigrade design with the big toes and pads and a long tapered body to the foot. What really works out nicely is the very subtle lighter fur colour for the bottoms of the feet and hands. I don't know why, but I've always loved that kind of lighter shading - draws attention there I guess. Nice work Vampy.
*peeks out and waves* Hehe :3 glad you think so. I swear those chibis of him are probably the most random thing that was added to fill space. One of my friends said clothing chibis but they ended up silly. I think the lighter color just has a really soft feel to it for some reason and originally was added so he wouldn't be one solid color. Was kind of afraid it wouldn't be noticeable when I started. Certainly glad his design is appealing to others though ^_^
*chuckles* Those chibbis are awesome - was at
cathulu's tonight, and she laughed on seeing them and agreed - simple as they may be, they add a lot of character and feel to who Simon is. And yes, very appealing design! Those lighter colours being subtle is all the better - means that you lean in and take a longer, closer second look. Imagine he plunks his feet in your lap for a rub and you look down and just sorta notice for the first time the lighter tones, and how it keeps getting a little more so as you see the bits of his sole you never really looked at before. It's really nice detail - a visual feast of sorts for the eyes. :)
