Poison type Ponchinella's have the ability to absorb toxins and release them at will, producing a noxious gas that surrounds them when in danger or protecting their home. They live in polluted areas and chemical waste dumps.

Species description:
Ponchinella are a species that live in various parts of the world, depending on their type. Each type has its own unique ability. (ex. A forest ponchinella can make plant-life grow)
All of which are omnivorous mammals, but are also connected to the spirits that follow them. As such, they are considered living ghosts, and do not require sleep. But they occasionally will, simply for the enjoyment of dreaming.
Ponchinella's actually have no eyes, they only have markings that make it appear as though they have closed eyes.
They construct vision based on sound and scent. Their ears sense the vibrations around an object to accurately predict its dimensions. Their scent gives colour to their vision, like an aura. Mostly everything it "sees" only has one colour because of this. With these senses combined, mostly everything they see appears as a black object with a smokey veil of colour over it.

If the vibrations around are too minimal to get a clear image, they begin to chatter their teeth to create their own.

Additional information:
- They are about the size of a lynx
- Eats fruit and small animals like mice, birds and frogs
- Their cheeks are always the same colour as the following spirits
- Consider themselves the guardians of the region in which they live
- Somewhat immortal. They can only be killed once the region they live in has been destroyed. If it is ever to grow back or be rebuilt, they will exist once again.
