Been in a bit of a TMNT mood lately so I came up with a bit of an idea on how to set up an entire species for the Turtles working with existing Lore. ^^

Andrew walked the park path humming a tune to himself. It was a warm day out and the turtle was happy to enjoy it. He was particularly glad this stretch of park was empty as he walked. He liked how the part felt when there weren't as many people in it. He liked the quite. Andrew sighed a bit wishing he was more like his ancestor. Like any kid he'd read all about the Five Patriarchs. The Four brothers and their father. The Patriarchs freed several hundred turtles from a FOOT Clan lab that wanted to use them as troops. But the Patriarchs put a stop to that. Freed them. Lead them. Today the Patriarchs' blood lines survive save for Master Spinter's though his ideology lives on. Andrew was descended from Raphael. The stoney warrior with a fire in his heart as it's often said today. Andrew couldn't have been more different from his ancestor. He was generally quite, smart, not one to want to find a fight. He kind of let people walk all over him. He wasn't the strongest either and well the Patriarchs certainly never needed a diaper at his age. Andrew was sickly when he was little and this seemed to be a lingering effect of that. Andrew wished he had the courage to speak up more for himself and the strength to fight the bullies that pushed him around and made fun of him. But just as he thought that he heard a familair voice from behind and turned starting to wave as a human friend came running down the path. Least he had a few friends. The two continued to walk through the park and talk about anything that happened to cross their minds and Andrew's thoughts about his "weaknesses" faded from his mind for now as his friend offered a sleep over. Andrew grinned and accepted calling up his mom to ask if it was alright. She said yes and told him to have fun glad that he seemed more cheerful than when he left. With that the two friends high fived and headed for the edge of the park. Their minds already spinning on the fun that was ahead.
