It is obvious that it's water, if that helps. In the future, try longer, slower lines, like sine waves, or for less peaceful water, wide w's depicting waves with soft troughs and sharp peaks.
I know the mood is supposed to be somber, but I can't stop thinking about how cute the bunny is. ^^
