I Don't Like the Thunder... (Raffle Winner)
Okay, so this is a drawing for 
satheroth335 who won my last raffle! I know it's been a long while since I've posted anything, so I'm glad I've finally got something to post here. Anyway, here's poor little Sath - he really doesn't like the thunder and the lightning, so he's holding onto Alioth for comfort during the storm.
This turned into kind of a personal piece for me, since I was pretty scared of thunderstorms myself as a kid, and I have a brother who, to this day, suffers from paralyzing astraphobia. So yeah - I know all about being scared of a thunderstorm. Anyway, enjoyed working on this!

I used to really be scared of thunderstorms. Now they don't bother me so much - I mean, I don't think I'll ever just enjoy thunderstorms, but they don't bother me like they used to. There is a bit of a neat sort of adrenaline rush when you have to drive through one. X3
I don't think I was ever afraid of them and they're so pretty to watch. Especially if can crack a window open and just listen to the storm, and being out *in* one and getting completely drenched, feels so refreshing and cleansing, almost on a spiritual level. The really bright ones while driving at night are fun too, yes. ^^
Adorable pic! Thunderstorms can be very scary to little cubs. And dogs too. Whenever a thunderstorm is in our area, and when a loud thunderclap rumbles, my dog will dash to my bedroom and leap on my bed and curl up beside me, trembling with fear. I have to gently stroke his fur just to calm him down.
