I dunno - I guess "hard" is pretty subjective. You have to set out with a plan for where and when you're going to carve each element, and then you need to have an eye for how to maneuver the nozzle. The first part you can learn how to do from a book - the second takes practice. I'm out of practice right now, hence the "meh" quality of this piece.
