The night air was cold against my fur but the desire to lay down on the floor of my balcony was overwhelming. I enjoyed the coldness of the marble and I loved watching the warmth of my breath steam in the night.

I heard the door open to my left and a beautiful redhead came through the sliding glass doors.

"I thought I'd find you out here, my don't you look bored!" she exclaimed, but made the motion to lay down next to me on the marble.

"If I stretch out like this, I feel like I'm up there with them." I said, while waving my arms out by my side- like a snow angle. I felt her warm hand take mine, so I opened my eyes and looked over at her.

"You want to go see your stars again?" she asked, almost sadly.

"More than anything, I love being out in space. On the ship, looking at clear skies all night. Don't get me wrong, I love visiting new planets. But out there is just so much adventure." I exclaimed whistfully, while focusing my attention back on the sky.

"Close your eyes and don't open them again until I say so." I felt her hand squeeze mine harder and a warmth that felt strange- yet familiar - filtered up my arm and into my being.

"Open your eyes!" she said, with laughter in her voice.

I opened them and momentarily paniced, "I'm in space! but how are we...? without suits? I don't understand!"
My eyes went cross-eyed as I stared at a tiny rock that floated by my face almost too close. "This is amazing."

"Its my power, though doing this will make me so sleepy later." she said and raised her hands up- they were glowing a bright green.

"You'll be ..okay?" I asked, expressing concern- but it landed with getting a swift punch in the arm.

"Tag! You are it!" she exclaimed, and then tried to swim away from me as fast as possible.

"Ha! I could catch you with my eyes closed!" I yelled after with a cheesey grin on my face.
