*Put in scraps to be used as a profile ID*

After a friend of mine took this awesome photo of me, I decided to work on creating a photomontage between that and this piece that another friend recently did as a request (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12645647/).

I've always been rather intrigued by the concept of duality, and here, with a picture of the same pose in drawing and real photo, I couldn't help but seize the opportunity to do this.

For this, I took the RL picture, cropped it into a more appropriate square-shape, then took the picture that did for me. I separated the face and the paws, then carefully cropped out the left paw and manipulated the fingers (and my that I mean cut them out and repositioned them over my RL left fingers). I moved the fox head into position, trimmed the bottom part out so it fitted over the right hand, then I worked on multiple layers in order to add transparent colour over the ready-made details present in the original art. Using symmetry, I created that black splatter on both sides (just as a last minute idea) and then I considered this done.

I'm really happy how this turned out - and now I have a picture I can use on social networking sites where want to only allude to being a furry xD

Steepling (verb): place (the fingers or hands) together so that they form an upward-pointing V-shape.
