So, heres that body armor i was complainaing about a few weeks ago. I finally got the right size back earlier this afternoon.

Since I couldn't find quite the vest I wanted, I decided to buy a regular one and modify it myself. In this case im turning a Level IIa concealable vest into a level IIIa OTV with an integrated wire mesh to stop edged weapons.

The vest came with some outdated level II panels that I swapped with some new Level III ones, I also replaced the mesh panels.

Ive already modified a set of LBE's to integrate into the vest's existing webbing to give some modularity, But Ill probably be replacing the shoulder harness which was from a set of black LC2's i had lying around with a more custom built shoulder padding. I could splurge and buy a premade neck/shoulder guard, But making it yourself is half the fun. Ill just have to order some ballistic fabric and buy more Cordura.
