And finally another one is posted.......
So, first I have to offer huge, on-my-knees apologies to everyone who participated in my Voice Acting Workshop panel at Rocky Mountain Fur Con 2012. I had wanted to make it a policy that I would at the very least get all the recordings edited and ready for delivery by the time I went to the con the following year, but I failed at that when I arrived at RMFC 2013 without these edited. :(
ON THE OTHER HAND
I had forgotten that RMFC 2012 was the first time my panel went into like double overtime. I recorded 27 PERFORMANCES. I usually record like 12. Add to that a job change, having to dismantle my studio and relocate my gear, and the FBA going gangbusters the last 12 months, there was no way I could keep up with the number of recordings I had to edit. Not at the previous standard I was trying to keep of not releasing recordings until I had added sound effects and properly mixed them down.
So, from now on I'm changing my policy on these recordings. I'm only going to do a basic edit, trimming up the dialogue and adding room tone to cover up the edits. I realize that this may make some of the scenes hard to understand since some of the scripts depend on sound effects to understand them, but I've got a plan for that. This is the first collection to be posted this way, with the exception of one performance in the middle that already had sound effects.
The other problem is that with 27 performances, this recording is over 20 minutes long, which makes it difficult to fit under FA's 10 MB audio limit. So, I recently reserved furryvoiceacting.com and will be setting up a website with all the individual performances available for download, as well as the scripts from the panels. At that point, I won't be posting recordings here any more, just directing people to the new website.
Once the website is up, I'll also offer a service to produce and polish the recordings for anyone who does want to have their panel recording given music and sound effects. More on that later!
Anyway, here's the very much belated recordings from Rocky Mountain Fur Con 2012. I do want to say that out of all the furry conventions I've been to, none have been as generous or as helpful to me as RMFC. The staff at this con has really gone out of their way to put me in good rooms, giving me good time slots, allowing me to set up my gear and break it down-- and they always get in touch with me to make sure I've got everything I need. Really, these guys are just a notch above everyone else in my book, and it's always a real pleasure to bring more and more voice acting opportunities to their convention. It's also why I feel especially bad about being so late with this delivery, but-- heh-- I can't even imagine just how many performances I recorded at RMFC 2013!! XD
See you guys in August! There's no way I'm missing one of my very favorite cons! :)

Buck, YOU ROCK! We love having you and you always deliver awesome work. You do a great job pulling the performances out of the actors. Would there be any issues with me trying to grab the sections I'm in and using it as part of a demo? I ask as I'm rather sure the recordings are your property per the waivers we signed =^_^= If furryvoiceacting.com has a membership setup I'm totally signing up! You are an artist and that said, the best art is never rushed. Don't feel bad! We recorded a LOT of material. I'm looking forward to this year and hanging with you again =^_^= Catch you later! Klan
