Actually, Oliver and Company was a very popular film during its initial run. In fact, it set the record as the highest-grossing Disney animated feature of all time -- until a year later, when Little Mermaid was released. I absolutely loved that movie. It played for several weeks at a discount theater near my work. So just about every Friday in the Spring of 1989 found me there to watch Dodger and the gang. But, yeah, the film seems to have been overlooked in later years (that's especially true for another fave flick of mine, The Rescuers Down Under).
Agreed on the other two films. They both have their problems, but Titan A.E. has always been a guilty pleasure. And while I didn't like Treasure Planet at first, I have come to appreciate it more with subsequent viewings on home video.
(Side Note: I watched those films at a party hosted by Alopex and Br'er Foxxe. As I recall, Derrick Dasenbrock -- for whom I did the sketch -- and Heywulf were also there.)
