nothere, part 5 of 5. I really like how this pose turned out ^^ She's kinda supposed to be a sphinx, except that instead of having a human face she has an anthro lioness face... which really makes her more just an anthro lion with wings, but who cares, I can draw anthro lion faces way better than human ones anyway ;P

Hee, yeah I was thrilled at the opportunity to draw a sphinx, one of these days I'd like to try drawing a traditional one with a human face (though I have a feeling my human-face drawing skills will only end up frustrating me...). I guess the traditional sphinx was almost the exact opposite of today's conventional furry - animal body, human head :P
Heh! Spoken like a true furry ;D Personally I think I'd lean toward the mostly-human, slightly-furry cat face seen in the more furry-inclined catgirl (neko) artwork. A cute little cat nose, cat-like eyes, small pointy fangs, but overall a human-ish face... I've always thought that was a cute look. It's just a personal preference though, you should go with whatever you like best :3
The final picture pose and the face are completely masterclass... this is a case of your hand warming up midway through? It just... so loose and wonderful, and captures perfectly the feeling of wobbly joints in limbs you didn't have when you woke up this morning... ^^"
Goodness, thank you! ^^' I think I had warmed up to it more by this point, but the truth is I also relax more when I'm drawing an anthro character rather than a human one. The anatomy is very similar, but I guess furries - especially feline furries - have that curvy, chunky, flexible mass to them that I've always loved to exaggerate, and it just looks weird on human characters X3
