They were, but that did not give them much advantage over their foes, as in this world their archenemy(Muslims) acquired firearms faster due to geographical reasons, and more importantly, diminutive nature of foxes limited the caliber and muzzle length of guns they could carry or operate without difficulties. Because of this, foxes could only successfully defend themselves north of Great Barrier Mountains, where rugged terrain and harsh climate proved to be advantageous for defenders.

That makes absolutely perfect sense.

복식은.... 말씀하신 17세기 머스킷 총병들의 투구와 인터넷에서 찾은 오스프레이 삽화의 비잔틴제국 말기의 궁중 경호대원 복식, 그리고 여우들이 무슬림 침공을 통해 받았을 문화적 영향을 고려한 터키 복식을 대충 결합해 본 것입니다;;

여기 나오는 여우들은 예전 게시물에 올린 이야기에 나오는 복쪽으로 도망친 여우들입니다. 쓰러져 있는 사람도 같은 게시물에 나오는 하룬 1세의 원정대에 속한 병사고요.

Who are they supposed to be a parallel to, if any in the real world? Their armament and attire make me think of Eastern European nations (Poland, Hungary, etc.)
