Probably put too much thought into this too though.
Feeling really down. And wanted to see Shaylee comforting me. Tried drawing her cuddled up against "my" back or in a more comforting pose. But honestly it just didn't feel right. Shaylee (especially in feral form) just wouldn't know quite what to do, so now she is just doing the best she can. Sometimes a reassuring paw is all you really need anyways.

I'm sure it's hard not to put too much thought into a piece like this when you're emotionally tied into it.
