A papercutting (aka Scherenschnitte) of a heraldic "coat of arms"/crest. I'm allowing this design to be used as a Scherenschnitte pattern for those who may wish to try cutting it themselves, but it's not to be used for any other purpose; thanks. :)

Thanks. :) Here's how I did it:
1. First, I drew out half of the pattern on folded parchment, except for the few parts that are asymmetrical (which I had to draw backwards with the paper unfolded).
2. Next, I cut out all the symmetrical parts with the parchment folded (using an X-Acto knife and cutting out the most difficult areas first).
3. Then I unfolded the parchment and cut out the remaining asymmetrical parts.
4. And lastly, I flipped the parchment over and carefully glued it down onto the blue decorator paper.
Hope this helps! :)
