For the last few years, I'd been posting a black-and-white version of a proposed comic called "Front & Back", which depicted my alternate feline 'fursona', who wore a variety of T-shirts with messages on both sides (usually with a punchline on the back side of said tee).
But I wanted to take this comic series to the next level, by including 'fat furry' characters wearing similar garments - with the logic being, the larger the T-shirt wearer, the more room there is for a longer message!
So, I had chosen my noise-making ursine character 'Bor-Bor Bear' to be the 'model' for the T-shirts in this WIP (work in progress), occasionally to be punctuated with a gut-rumbling sound.
And I couldn't think of a better way to start the bear's modeling career by having him wear a tee loosely based on the movie "Eat Love Pray", even though the message could just as easily apply to his hibernation period!
As you can see, I'd also added a splash of color to the cartoon - not only to the character, but to the lettering on the T-shirt. (Future garment will even include full-color 'clip art' of items that will be relevant to this comic gag.)
As always, your 'feedback' (about my latest series, my 'fat furry' character, or anything else pertaining to this) is more than welcome. I'll have more brand-new "Front & Back" gags with 'Bor-Bor' later on, during my latest 'sweeps month' (February, 2014), so keep your eyes open for them...
