believe it or not, this has actually gotten so bad that its even got us southerners here in places like Texas kinda tired of it, its very rare that it ever gets below 30 degrees down here for more than 8 days A YEAR. up north im sure thats funny, but down here thats uncommon, so yeah, even though i like the cold, even im getting tired of it

Ironically, he's actually making the cold worse. Since the poles absorb more of the warming than the equator, there is less of a difference in temperature between the equator and the pole. Therefore, the jet stream is pushed lower. Everything above the jet stream is cold, cold, cold.

Our hot tub (fiberglass spa, actually), is working GREAT keeping it at 100f or higher as needed. And add to the mix a parabolic heater AND canvas surrounds to cut the wind, we're golden at -5f/-20c

Costs about $100 per month for the tub itself, over and above the regular power bill. Well worth it given how GREAT the sex is

plug in 15 x 100 watt submersible aquarium heaters on each free outlet (use the workout room's electrical outlet and run a 100 foot cord/s as needed). Do this on 3 different outlets, and that's 4500 watts of heating power. Wait, those only go up to about 90f max... never mind

On second thought, just make sure the apartment manager understands that the hot tub WILL be HOT and NO is NOT an acceptable answer. "we're not unreasonable, we don't need the hot tub at 105f - 100 will do nicely".
