I felt stupid for not noticing that it was him immediately upon entering, but there was nothing about the Reinhardt I knew on that stage. Singing made him appear vulnerable, somehow, and I didn’t want to think about him that way. It humanized him, made him more than just an antagonistic cop, and I wasn’t sure how to handle that.
