Same here. I have the dream of adopting one and raising it myself. But of course... not legal and too much money for any average person in the US. SO I'm just getting a wolf or fox instead

Hi, sorry for the very late reply, but I was off for the last three weeks. Well, even in Germany it would not be legal to have a lion of its own.

I already asked some zoos if they would offer me the opportunity to get in touch with lions. "Too dangerous", "not legal" etc. were the answers.

So I intend to visit in a couple of years the "Lion Park" in South Africa. There you can play with young lion cubs (even white ones!) or work as a volunteer. Just have a look at their homepage...

Amateur or not these are good! Love cats .....
