Cropped out my notes;

Panel 1: Gasps at hand turned into a paw
Panel 2: Second hand, ears and tail start to form
Panel 3: Tail grows, feet are now paws (if there were socks/shoes they've burst), ears are fully formed
Panel 4: Face is now fuzzy, tail is fully formed, everything but head is skunk
Panel 5: Paws to face, the muzzle is forming
Panel 6: Fully formed confused skunkguy.

Ignore the shortness of the last panel, he's meant to keep the same build throughout; I just didn't have a ruler when drawing this panels.

Example of how a TF could go, for an artist who was willing to try but needed guidence :3
