This is an early drawing of Hibiscus Cetera from a few years ago. She hasn’t changed much, but I don’t always draw her wearing those loud prints.

Hibiscus started out as a private joke character, a female clone of Benign, but she gradually changed a lot until I made her a character in her own right. She is Benign’s older sister and plays the drums in her husband Lanny's rock band, Hillroarer. She’s fairly bold and outspoken, and doesn’t like to display mushiness or sentimentality in public. She is a loyal, fun friend but can be subtly manipulative.
