Dear mom and Shadic,

If you’re reading this, then I’m already gone from this island. I do not want you both to blame yourself for this. You both have always done a great job to raise me. I keep trying my best to help the people around, but somehow I always mess it up. Other Pokémon laugh at me and say I’m not worthy to be my father’s son like Red. I barely got to spend some time with him and lose him in a sacrifice to protect the world.

Red has always been stronger since he was old enough to train with dad meanwhile I wasn’t old enough yet. I know Red tried to train me even if I was clumsy, but since he has a girlfriend, I never really got to spend much time with him. Last week I tried my best to help the shopkeeper. Of course I screwed up and destroyed half his inventory, and recently, a Turtwig beat me in a battle and said I was a shame to the village and didn’t deserve to wear dad’s scarf. The reason of why I was hardly around so I could cry alone.

I packed up the artifact my father told me to guard with my life. I’ve departed and will grow stronger until I feel good enough to wear my father scarf, and try my best to become strong and help anyone in need.

Shadic, thank you for everything you have done for us. You try your best and always kept mom happy. I know that my father was always your best friend as well. I'm happy that you have told me a bit about your past with him, all the adventures and the fun you guys had. I know Red is giving you a hard time, but forgive him. He still loves you even if he never shows it. I will grow stronger and make you all proud of me.
