xīn nián kuài lè(Happy New Year). It's the Lunar New Year and it's one of my favorite holidays especially the food. But perhaps one of my favorite traditions is the hanging of the fú symbol outside doors and gates. The idea is that you invite good fortune into the household or store but it also allows people walking past the signs to also inherit good fortune as well. That being said,since I don't have a door I hope that the people here have good fortune this year.
