Many, many years ago, Rythe was a side RP character of mine that I made as a quick assist in a thread. He shortly split off on his own and and just as shortly grew into a force of his own, so much so that he became my online namesake. Rythe's provided many years of dragony goodness for me, and suffice it to say I've a certain attachment to the guy. Enough that I've wanted to update him and put him down in artwork now and again.

2010 was one such year, and I penciled down a sketch of him that was a bit of an update and a bit of an alt take but captured his soul all the same. I'm rather proud of it to this day.

About two months back, I was convinced to pick the piece up again and try to finish it. I managed this much - a full rework of the original pencils - and again am quite pleased.

A proper finish is not yet in my grasp it seems, so I'm sliding that into the project queue.
