this is the interior of that scratch built On30 automat cafe that lateral and possibly others mentioned wanting to see. which may or might not, receive further details and decorations.
showing the two character currently eating, across from each other. one 3d printed, the kind of fox+mustalid kind of looking guy, and the other female made with wood putty on an acc'd together armature of insulated single strand wire.
can't say as i'm entirely happy with either of them, nor my skill at making them.
this is 1/4" to the foot, or 1/48th scale. this is the SCALE of 'O' scale, but being narrow gauge, runs on track and wheels which, in that scale represent a narrow gauge of 30", 2.5', 760mm, for which in that SCALE, HO GAUGE track and wheels works out "close enough".
the dinnerware is purchased but painted myself (little tiny metal stampings it turns out. the big cup/mugs, are cut bits of those little plastic stirer straws for your coffee they have at some of the fast food places.
i thought one of those extra keychain versions of the discount card from toys r us, would make a really pretty pattern or a table top. actually it made two table tops, and the seat next to it is a commercial detail too. the seats and tables the two furrys are sitting at were made from bits of plasti-struct, before i had either of the former.
