Minecraft Snow Sorceress Braixen Mob - For Alpha 0.2
Here is one of my favorite mob models again, this time in its final, fully functional state. It was reinserted with my mod, Disciples of Corruption in the Alpha 0.2, I released a few days ago.
Of all the models I had done up to this point, this one had received the most work and effort. But as you can kinda see, it has working elbows and actually waves that wand block back and forth.
Some people might not appreciate that that is pretty advanced stuff by Minecraft's standards. It has to entirely done with manual algebra, even after the rotation matrices I wrote are used.
And the needless info stuff on this so the asshole FurAffinity admins that like to delete my own work don't have a stupid reason to do so:
Braixen is copyright Game Freak/Pokemon Company
This is for a modification, "PkmnMD: Disciples of Corruption" created by me, to the game, Minecraft by Mojang
This mob was made with:
~Eclipse Juno (Java coding)
~Techne for the modeling
~Adobe Photoshop CS5 for the texture
~Audacity for mixing its cries from Pokemon X/Y Amie of Braixen, Amaura, Leafeon, and Glaceon cries
~Fraps for taking video footage of the mod in action
~Adobe Premiere Elements X for dissecting the Fraps footage to bring you this screenshot collection

Well if you're using the Forge ModLoader API, I think, its simply a matter of drag and drop into the mods folder and done. Compatibility would have to be in the form of simply ID conflicts and the user can do that on his end with the config file in the config folder.
Actually I don't really know what I am doing. x_x' Forge itself has always been the messiest part of modding for me to deal with. And after trying to update to 1.7.2, it is just, way too darn jacked up this time around.
I plan on waiting for more consistent documentation on how to mod for it to come out before I try again.
I really doubt god in the art of modding but maybe in the art of modeling/animating. xD Thanks! ^^

Well you must know what you're doing if your mod works well with my Feed The Beast Direwolf20 pack containing 145 other mods. :D
Its quite fun running around as a braixen. xD

OH WHAT THE?!? It does work with other mods?! Sick! I wonder if it would somehow work with Tekkit... I don't know much of anything about using many mods at once. Heck, I hardly even use mods at all, I confess. o3o
Those screenshots look so cool. xD
I actually learned some tips when trying to update to 1.7 on making the mod less likely to clash with other mods. Whenever I do make that update... Since I usually start over from scratch each major update, I will try and use those features.
