Fighting The Tide by Immelmann.
- COMMISSION -
The Husky's eyes narrowed as he removed his fist from the bag. He watched the indentations of his knuckles slowly expand outwards as the material reformed its usual shape. It had taken perhaps two seconds for the bag to recover from his blow.
Seque Decar felt his upper lip curl, exposing his jagged canines as anger seethed through him. Rage took hold and for the first time in a long while, the Husky lost his composure altogether.
It didn't use to be this way.
Once upon a time the strength he used would cause far more than a few seconds damage.
Whether it was a training bag, an exercise dummy or a live target, the Husky's blows would remain for more than a brief flash. Seque's fist would become part of his target, whoever or whatever it was would be reminded whenever their skin or material folded... whenever they glanced the shape of a fist upon their bodies in the mirror... a constant token of the Husky's power.
As his fury subsided, the panting Canine knew what it meant as he gazed upon the beaten, crumbled bag before him.
Time was catching up and it would make a fool out of him in the end.
Catching his breath for a moment, Seque released a world-weary sigh as the apparel he wore for his session clicked and whirred, releasing the stored liquid into his body, providing instant rejuvenation. The Husky's muscles relaxed along with his mind as he brought his trembling fists eye-level, gazing upon the fingers. The fur there hid the wrinkles well.
He was old. Older than he appeared. Old enough to wonder that perhaps the world he lived in might be weary of him... rather than it being the other way around. The Husky still possessed a physically capable body, but his mind had seen too much. It wasn't meant to continue functioning after so long, it had become fatigued against the tide and it was starting to drag his form down with it. This was not a physical battle Seque could win. It was a war of attrition, one that needed to be ground out to the bitter end.
Seque resumed his war with the training bag, though even he became aware that it was about more than just training at this point...
Perhaps he would end up beaten by someone hungrier for the victory soon enough. The Husky had always expected his life to come to an unexpected end... he just didn't realise it would take so long to get to such a point in time.
Maybe it was an inevitability he would be unable to avoid. But if that was the case, if he was to finally pass, he would do so at the absolute peak of his physical condition. He would not go quietly into the night, would not allow it to be claimed that Seque Decar had fallen to laziness and that it was this that was the cause of his demise. No, if it was his time, if he was to die, all credit would go to the person that ended him. It was how it should be.
Seque remained unaware for the entire duration of his session of a figure bathed in shadow watching him.
This was a fun lil' item to pick up!
I've always been a fan of Immelmann. I have a long-standing commission history with this particular artist and whenever I'm able to, I always like to further that history along some ways. I'm fairly sure this is the first non-fetish piece of artwork I've ever gotten from Immy. What a shock!
Anyway, fairly simple scene featuring Seque keeping up his chiseled appearance by boxing... in sci-fi shorts. No it doesn't have to make sense, it's the future! Something to do with nano-bots or nanonmachines... That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Actually the blue glow comes from the internal electrolyte distribution within the shorts. Accompanied by various sensors that wirelessly pulse around specific points of the body, it can detect and administer the required liquids needed, effectively "sweating" the electrolytes into the skin under the fur, removing the need for the user to pause and drink during their session.
I should patent that idea, it's rather neat.
Anyway, enjoy!

Very nice, bro! The idea for his pants really is neat! It totally fits with the environment, for sure! As always, I love the story accompanying the picture! You have such a way with words, and you know how to give just enough away without giving too much! I'm sure Sally loves what he's watching, too! xD
