First few of my toony doodle things. More will be on the way, I suspect.
I'm fairly happy with three of these. Sigma's didn't turn out like I wanted, but that's okay, this is practice time anyway!

I almost got a little upset when I read that... I thought to myself, "Isn't that exactly what I'm trying to do?" D:
Then I stopped being an idiot for a minute and realized that you're probably talking about the picture I just posted, not poking at my artistic abilities. I think I may have just found a bit of a sensitive spot within myself. x3

Actually, that's sort of the plan! I've been wanting to start drawing stuff like this for a long time but never got seriously into it. I suddenly had a strong urge for it though so I figured I'd sit down, practice for a bit, and see if I can do it well enough to start taking commissions of them. If I get comfortable with it, that'll probably be the next thing I do.
A lot of realistic artists just collapse when the muscles are no longer very easy to discern... don't worry about it, these are great and nicely lumpy.
The guy to look for is George Lichty - comic strip artist - with one of the most versatile, cartoony brushes I've ever seen. Rod Scribner cited him as the greatest influence on most extreme cartooning.
