Random, sudden bout of inspiration is to blame for this.
I don't recommend trying to ambush a Kaliak when he's knee deep in his favorite element!
As a side note, water is rather hard to draw efficiently and well, but I did have fun playing with the colors and various segments/layers. I also created a new outfit by combining some elements I liked from pictures I've done in the past. While not entirely visible, I did have to think about how I wanted to put it all together.

Looks good, I really like the colouring and shading.
The hands seem a bit large to me and the tail could perhaps be positioned a bit lower and coming off at a more parallel angle to the body.
Aside from that, the picture has a lot of action and dynamic going for it :)
