Lee Ann Womack: Forever Everyday - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OMVadhftso
This is a very dialogue intensive issue, with not a whole lot of actual action going on. Some people might find that disappointing, but this is the only part that's like this really. That doesn't mean it's low on emotions, no not at all!
This is a very important part of the story, here, Violet finally comes to grip with her past. The past she spent with Pinky which had almost completely faded from her memory. Up to this point, her feelings of wanting to protect Pinky from her fate has been due to feelings Violet herself didn't really understand. It's like a subconscious part of her still remembers and loves Pinky.. one that was awakened when it saw her in danger.
Violet finally realizes her past, and how important Pinky was and still is to her. Something that many of you including Pinky herself could only wish had happened years ago! But it looks like Hank has her all towed up and ready to go, will Violet get back outside in time?????

This was actually a pretty fun part to draw, when I envisioned the comic I saw it full of references to previous pictures, which now in context make the viewer super sad because they're in the past and gone. I envisioned pictures in a photo album, I thought it would give you that feeling when you look in an RL photo album. You see pictures of yourself as a kid, pets, cars, family members who've all come and been gone for years. It's a very bittersweet feeling you know? I myself look at old photos that have cars in them from when I was a little kid, much like the photos in the comic here, and it makes me wonder where they are now. Are they still running? Were they junked years ago? Are they something else now, having been recycled into something else?
This is also the part, towards the end, where my art skills and style for drawing the characters really start to improve. You'll notice at the end of this that Violet is looking a bit different then in the first part. Her face is a bit rounder and 'baby-chub'ier. Her hair is a lot more poofy and floaty looking. Her mom also gains more of a unique look, mostly in her eyes. She gets a very comforting kinda wise-old grandma look to them. If it's not really obvious in this one it'll be in the next parts. :)
About the photos: This little 4 picture panel is just full of references to previous pictures! We've got more pictures of baby Violet which we really haven't seen much of. Showing her earliest fascination with Pinky (who's own expressions is hidden by her object-state in the photo.) We've also got a colored version of Violet in her Halloween costume from this picture: http://half-dude.deviantart.com/art.....ween-266343881 I was personally really happy to get this one drawn, because it shows part of Pinky's 'costume' that I couldn't get seen in the original picture. You see she has little cardboard devil horns, but here you see that Violet even rigged up a little spiked tail to her rear-bumper. XD It's actually made from a garden hose if that's not obvious.
Then we've also got a colored picture of the scene, or a similar scene, from the Tea party picture. http://half-dude.deviantart.com/gal.....et=24#/d4crz9y
The fact that Pinky is in object mode in the photos might be confusing people a little bit. Let me try to explain, I'm kinda sorta twisting the rules from the movie a bit. Rather then an appliance actively 'hiding' it's face and looking like an object. I made it instead more of a... state of perception. That a young child can perceive the face on the appliance, but an adult will just see a blank car/appliance front. Of course, you could imagine that while Violet's mom or dad was around taking the picture Pinky actively stood completely still and didn't say anything. O_O
Let me wrap it up before this gets too long. Lastly, it it's not obvious, the room they're sitting in looking at this album is the mom and dad's room. You see it in the Violet's Nightmare comic. : 3
