This is Ancalima, a rough-raised human woman who lives in Mirkwood forests along with her mule Jent. She has a pivotal part to play in the third part of the fanfiction trilogy, and was named in honor of someone I became very good friends with on TheOneRing.com, back when it was called Tolkien Online. I owe a lot to that website, and particularly the feedback of its fanfiction readers.
