That's really fascinating! I've never heard of anyone who prefers "randomized" pronouns.
I'm pretty queer myself and I'm generally pretty content with male pronouns but damn my partner told me about how she sometimes accidentally refers to me as "she" and damned if that wasn't the most flattering thing.

I'm the same way (neutral). I answer to he or she. I do not like female pronouns, but I just deal with them. Two of my co-workers use the male version of my name and he, while everyone else uses the female name and she.
Since there is another person here with the same name, I figure a PC way to get around the difference between the two names and often confusion with who needed to talk to who (hers is with a C, and mine is with a K) was to just list me as "Erik." I make a phone list, and update it whenever someone new gets hired on me team.
Things have been normal, with the exception of one individual going all the way to the other side of the office to tell me that they were only going to call me by my given name. I wasn't sure what to think of it, but they're a bit awkward sometimes, leaving me feeling that way.
Sometime later they had returned to tell me, "I support in in whatever point in your transition you're in." "I'm not transitioning or on HRT. That's (name of co-worker)'s fiancee'."

This is almost exactly my same emotional standpoint on my own gender identity. I really admire you for putting it so succinctly! (I always feel kind of vaguely guilty when someone asks what pronouns to call me, and I'm like "aha...anything but 'it'?")
The only difference is that I don't mind people asking me about my junk. But I totally get why you do and fully respect it!
Thanks for being who and what you are, and not hiding from the world. c: You've got a vast network of people who understand and support you, and you're an amazing person.

That's a really cool approach. I've personally used the phrase "genderfluid" to describe myself on no small number of occasions, but that's not something I've ever really thought about trying with my associates. Super cool, and I'm really glad you found something that works well for you!
I kind of wish pedantic people would stop complaining about it when I use a singular "they" in cases where I don't know someone's gender... I mean... it tends to be kind of useful to be able to refer to a person without having to know their (see what I did there?) gender. If a singular "they" is good enough for Shakespeare, it's good enough for me.
We both have a lot of the same feelings. I really enjoy being called "they" but I feel pretty good about a mix of pronouns. Really when it's communicated to me that folks respect/acknowledge my non-binary status it just feels good.
Sometimes I've had folks refer to me with zhi/zhir and it made me smile a lot.

I couldn't help but remember this one : http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12171090/
