Mudrost back story
Mudrost is an earth pony that has been studying in Manehattan, he is an academic but his heart is not in his studies. He is studying astronomy, he fell in love with one of the other students in his class and over time they developed a close bond. After going out for a year and a half they both finished their studies and graduated. Moving in with each other the couple spent every day together, happily in each other’s company. On is way to do shopping he decided to visit a jewellers and bought the best ring he could that he knew the love of his life would adore. Upon returning home he cooked her favourite meal, placed candles and flowers on the table and dished out the meal. His love returned home from her work and sat at the table with a huge smile on her face, half way through the meal he said to her “I thought graduating with you was the happiest moment of my life, I love you, and I always want to be with you” he got up and approached his love, he got down on 3 hooves and said “Will you be my forever pony? Be with me until we turn to stardust, always the love of my life” His love turned bright red and accepted the four hoovelets (pony anklets).
After a few years had passed happily engaged, his love became ill, at first they though it was just a stomach bug, but her health did not improve, her illness got worse and worse. In hospital she knew she didn’t have much longer and said to Mudrost “I may be gone from here, but I shall forever watch you from the stars, we may not have become stardust together, but I have and always will love you my darling” upon speaking these words she passed away.
He organised the funeral with a broken heart, he spoke at the funeral about his fiancée “She was the love of my life, we were supposed to become stardust together, but now she is up with the stars watching us from her new place, I will find her again amongst the stars, I will devote my life to this, I may have lost her now, but I will find her again…my love, I promise this to you” he got off the podium and sat and cried for the rest of the funeral. Throwing her favourite flowers, Black roses onto her grave, kissing each one just before placing them.
