Female Insectoid Ranger, with her falconette out tracking a tresspasser to her protectorate.
***
Sorta a 'bug-mutt' as there's elements of roach, mantis, click beetle, and bird in her strange genetic mishmash.
After the click beetle ranger from the last Teeny Tiny Portraits, I hadta attempt another insectile ranger. I may attempt to color her later - the lower half of her abdomen, I'm thinking, is semi-transparent.

Well, the bees aren't let loose, but they still weird people out. They're in these little holder-rack thingies, and don't particularly look comfy, and they make licking responses when they smell teh drugs.
But yeah, in the little D&D runups to the last Portraits I did, I was kinda slow getting to the 'secondary' character classes, with Druids, Rangers, Monks and Paladins left over ... and you're right. Rangers are a pretty good match. And with the Tessiel bugs living in isolation, away from the cities and trying to keep a low profile, druids are kinda a natural fit too.

*grins* Judging from the prints, its a mammal ... though those might get changed to something else if I do decide to color.
I think she more or less came across the tracks and is curious to know 'Who Goes?' and probably frighten it off with a few well placed arrows and a swoop or two of her little raptor.

Yeah, went with more humanoid eyes to facilitate her looking 'down' without going too cartoony or tilting her whole neck straight down. She has more mandible 'palps' than I usually draw too, but now that I've seen more than a few bugs with 3, 4, or 5, sets of 'mouth feelers' I felt inclined to stick on as many as I can squeeze on :>
